AEB Taxation Committee Zoom-Webinar: "Key Updates in Taxation: DTA Suspension, Expansion of Minfin "Blacklist", Windfall Tax", 31.08.2023 

On August 31, 2023 the AEB Taxation Committee will be held an online webinar “Key Updates in Taxation: DTA Suspension, Expansion of MinFin "Blacklist", Windfall Tax”. 

 

Recent months have brought a number of amendments in tax legislation such as suspension of DTA’s main provisions, extension of “blacklist” of the Russian Ministry of Finance (MinFin Order 86n of 5 June 2023) and windfall tax. During the webinar the AEB experts will share their knowledge and expertise on these matters. The working languages of the event are English and Russian. Interpretation will be provided.  

 

 

The event will take place via ZOOM from 10:00 to 12:00.

AEB: "Tax Conference. Trends and Prospects", 06.07.2023

On July 6, 2023, Thursday, from 12:00 to 18:30 in the AEB Conference Center will be held the traditional mid-year event “Tax Conference. Trends and Prospects”.


The conference will highlight recent and upcoming amendments to the Russian taxation legislation and administration. The agenda includes issues related to international taxation and cross-border transactions, tax control and administration, trends in court practice development and many more. The event will provide an excellent platform for discussion and exchange of knowledge by professionals. Belarus: Zoom-Webinar "Practical aspects of the impact of EU-sanctions on the activities of Belarusian business entities, 20.06.2023

On Tuesday, the 20th of June, 2023 at 10:00 will be held a webinar on the impact of the European sanctions on the activities of Belarusian business entities, which is organized by the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus with the expert support of the law firm Brand & Partner Belarus.

 

The webinar will provide an overview of the current sanctions restrictions in the sphere of import and export of goods, consider the practical aspects of making payments with the EU, as well as the issues of emerging responsibility for violations of the sanctions regime.

Tourists intending to visit Russia for a short-term stay can now apply for Russia eVisas 

The majority of foreign citizens who wish to enjoy a stay in the Russian Federation are required to apply for a visa for Russia, although the type of travel document required will depend on nationality, as well as the purpose and duration of the stay. Tourists intending to visit Russia for a short-term stay can now apply for Russia eVisas, a much faster and more practical way to obtain a Russian travel authorization than the traditional Russian tourist visa.

 

eVisas allow visitors to apply for their Russian visa entirely online in minutes, from anywhere in the world. Passport copies, online application form, and other documents required for the visa can be submitted online. Currently, eVisas are available for specific Russian regions. In order to visit the regions of the Far East, Kaliningrad, and St Petersburg, it’s no longer necessary to present supporting documentation at a Russian embassy or consulate.
